If planning, and before any of the work listed above can begin, a request for approval to Yellowhead Gas Co-op, you can email your requests to thirdpartycrossings@yellowheadgas.com The crossing agreement granted contains information and direction on how to safely cross a transportation platform or work in its priority. An Alliance representative will mark your work area and supervise the Jexier`s activity to ensure compliance with the crossing agreement granted. Crossing agreements help ensure that pipeline operators are informed of upcoming crossings or excavations to prevent accidents. Unauthorized crossings or searches pose a serious threat to the safety of workers and the pipeline, as well as to the safety of others in the vicinity. Gassco also requires documentation of the insurance plan in accordance with the requirements of the agreement. Please note that only minor intangible adaptations of model agreements can be accepted. In cases where an agreement is required, Gassco concludes, on behalf of the owners of the pipelines concerned, crossing agreements and approximation agreements on the basis of the standard applicable to these agreements, drawn up by the Association of Norwegian Oil and Gas Industries (Norsk olje og gass). If an agreement is signed, the technical dialogue with Gassco can begin. To get an agreement on Alliance crossroads, please email us. The Alliance will respond to requests for agreement within 10 business days. When the work is less than 2 nautical miles from the pipeline, Gassco may require formal agreement to settle the interaction, responsibilities and commitments between the parties. A formal agreement will always be required when the work is closer to 500 meters from the pipeline, if the work is more than 500 meters, but closer to 2 nautical miles, and may represent a risk to the pipeline (such as anchoring), Gassco will assess the need for an agreement.
